The first time I saw the video of 1000 sticks, I thought its just an After effects video effect. But upon reviewing the video, I was convinced that this is real video and there must a scientific explanation for this magical movements of sticks.

From the related videos from Utube, I learned that this video is real, and these exploding sticks are called Stick Bombs, it has been known in schools as investigatory projects for kids for ages. Other called it Chinese stick puzzles.

There are different ways patterns to create Stick bombs, and every patterns has a corresponding movements of sticks.

On this video, a kid used a 1000 sticks in different colors to produce a stick bombs. See the 1000 stick bomb in action.
